Stake
The staking feature allows you to stake ETH from your stVault to earn rewards. You may create new validators or increase the balance of existing ones, depending on your staking strategy.
1. Navigate to the Staking Operation
- From the dashboard, open the vault you wish to stake from.
- Go to the Operations tab.
- Click on the Stake card to begin.
or
- Click on the "Stake" quick action card in the Homepage.
2. Select the stVault
- Select the stVault you are staking from.
3. Configure the Stake
You will be prompted to choose between two staking modes
- Create New Validator
- Top Up Existing Validator
Create a New Validator
- Select the Vault and Enter the Amount to Stake
- Enter the amount of ETH you wish to stake (minimum 32 ETH).
- Click Next.
- Request Validator Keys
- Select Request Validator Keys.
- The system will generate the required validator keys.
- Wait for the key-generation process to complete; this may take a moment.
- Review and Sign the Staking Transaction
- Once the validator keys are created, you will be prompted to review the staking details.
- Confirm and sign the transaction in your connected wallet to finalize the creation of the validator.
After the transaction is signed and broadcasted, the amount of ETH staked will be deposited into the Ethereum Staking Contract and the new validator will enter the activation queue. Once active, it will generate staking rewards.
Top Up an Existing Validator
- Select the Validator
- Switch to the Top Up Validator tab.
- Choose the validator whose balance you wish to increase from the drop-down list.
- Enter the Top-Up Amount
- Specify the amount of ETH to add to the selected validator balance.
- Click Next.
- Review and Sign the Transaction
- Review the staking summary.
- Sign the top-up transaction in your wallet.
Once confirmed, the additional ETH will be assigned to the validator and reflected in the vault’s validator list.
Note that validator top-ups are made from the wallet directly, not from the stVault.
