SVM vs SVM Pro

At a glance

SVM and SVM Pro are one platform with two tiers. They share the same Lido v3 foundation, the same authentication, and the same vault data: SVM Pro adds the vault types, operations, and management surfaces a provider needs to run vaults for others.

Who each is for

SVM is the standard tier, built for stakers: individuals, funds and companies staking via stVaults for their own stake. It covers the full vault and validator lifecycle, Lido protocol fee settlement, reward and validator data, transaction history, webhooks, and on-chain role management.

SVM Pro is built for providers: node operators, custodians, and exchanges that run vaults on behalf of others. On top of everything in SVM, Pro adds pool vaults so many depositors can share a single vault, allowlist management for permissioned pools, operator-fee disbursement and fee-rate changes, tier and operator-grid management, timelocked operations, and the ability to register any stVault regardless of how it was created.
